{"id":50476,"date":"2025-09-20T21:03:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-20T20:03:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cpps.pt\/?p=50476"},"modified":"2025-09-20T21:03:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-20T20:03:09","slug":"conselho-geral-cpps-2026-2031-eleito-em-roma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cpps.pt\/en\/conselho-geral-cpps-2026-2031-eleito-em-roma\/","title":{"rendered":"CPPS General Council 2026-2031 elected in Rome"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An Assembly of Discernment and Hope<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Between 1 and 19 September 2025, the <strong>XXII General Assembly of the CPPS Missionaries (Congregation of the Mission of the Most Precious Blood)<\/strong>, under the motto <strong>\u201cBlood of Christ, hope for the world\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of this meeting was <strong>elect the new General Council for the 2026-2031 term<\/strong>, discern a common vision and define the priorities that will guide the mission over the next six years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Representation of the Iberian Province<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>THE <strong>Iberia Province<\/strong> was represented by <strong>Provincial Father Luis Manuel<\/strong> and by <strong>Delegate Father Ant\u00f3nio Panea<\/strong>, who actively participated in the work of reflection, prayer and decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The newly elected General Council<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The General Council elected for the 2026-2031 term is composed of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Father Emanuele Lupi (Italy)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Father Ben Berinti (USA)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Father Antonio Baus (Chile)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fr. Chesco Msaga (Tanzania)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Father Luigi de Fazio (Italy)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Renewed mission for 2026-2031<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Council assumes responsibility for <strong>to encourage and coordinate the mission of the Congregation at the international level<\/strong>, promoting communion between the different provinces, delegations and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the central theme \u201cBlood of Christ, hope for the world\u201d, the Assembly emphasized the importance of living the spirituality of the Most Precious Blood as <strong>source of reconciliation, hope and transformation<\/strong> in challenging contexts around the world.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uma Assembleia de discernimento e esperan\u00e7a Entre 1 e 19 de setembro de 2025, realizou-se em Roma a XXII Assembleia Geral dos Mission\u00e1rios CPPS (Congrega\u00e7\u00e3o da Miss\u00e3o do Precios\u00edssimo Sangue), sob o lema \u201cSangue de Cristo, esperan\u00e7a para o mundo\u201d.
