{"id":50479,"date":"2025-09-20T21:08:56","date_gmt":"2025-09-20T20:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cpps.pt\/?p=50479"},"modified":"2025-09-20T21:15:48","modified_gmt":"2025-09-20T20:15:48","slug":"missionarios-do-preciosissimo-sangue-recebidos-pelo-papa-leao-xiv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cpps.pt\/en\/missionarios-do-preciosissimo-sangue-recebidos-pelo-papa-leao-xiv\/","title":{"rendered":"Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood received by Pope Leo XIV"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Private audience during the XXII General Assembly<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On the day <strong>September 18, 2025<\/strong>, the Holy Father <strong>Pope Leo XIV<\/strong> received in <strong>private audience<\/strong> you <strong>Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood<\/strong>, gathered in Rome on the occasion of their <strong>XXII General Assembly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This meeting was a moment of sharing and encouragement, in which the Pope valued the spiritual and pastoral heritage of the Congregation, founded by <strong>Saint Gaspare del B\u00fafalo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The testimony of the founders<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In his speech, the Pope recalled the courage and vision of Saint Gaspare, who, \u201c<strong>open to the action of the Holy Spirit, he knew how to interpret the signs of the times and respond, in an enlightened way, to the demands that were emerging<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Holy Father emphasized that the founder, through popular missions and the spread of devotion to the Blood of Christ, <strong>confronted the spirit of impiety and irreligion that marked his time<\/strong>, leaving a current and inspiring example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guidelines for the present and future of the Congregation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pope Leo XIV highlighted three fundamental aspects of the life and mission of the Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Life together<\/strong>: as a place of sanctification, inspiration and strength for the apostolate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Obedience as an act of love<\/strong>: following the example of Jesus Christ.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reading the signs of the times<\/strong>: always returning to the founder&#039;s charisma to capture the inspiring spark and put it to the service of the present.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A call to service and hope<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, the Pope encouraged the Missionaries to live their mission with fidelity and creativity, transforming inherited values into concrete actions of service, reconciliation, and hope for today&#039;s world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No dia 18 de setembro de 2025, o Papa Le\u00e3o XIV recebeu em audi\u00eancia privada os Mission\u00e1rios do Precios\u00edssimo Sangue, reunidos em Roma na XXII Assembleia Geral.
