It is a special date for all communities linked to the congregation, who celebrate with joy and gratitude the example and spiritual legacy of this Italian priest, a tireless apostle of the Word and the redeeming Blood of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udd4a\ufe0f Who was Saint Gaspar del Bufalo?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gaspar del Bufalo<\/strong> He was born in Rome in 1786, and from a young age demonstrated an ardent faith and a profound devotion to Christ and the Eucharist. He was ordained a priest in 1808, and after enduring difficult times during the Napoleonic regime\u2014including exile for refusing to swear allegiance to Napoleon\u2014he dedicated his entire life to evangelization and the spiritual renewal of the Christian people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1815, he founded the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood<\/a><\/strong>, with the objective of To proclaim the Word of God, promote popular missions, and awaken faith in the most needy communities.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saint Gaspar died in 1837 and was canonized in 1954 by Pope Pius XII.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
