Last Sunday, cubs, junior scouts, senior scouts and rovers made their promises, in a ceremony enriched by the presence of national leaders of the movement, scouts from various groups, family members and the Christian community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/cpps.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/E1.jpg?wsr\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51093\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpps.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/E1.jpg 900w, https:\/\/cpps.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/E1-768x582.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cpps.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/E1-16x12.jpg 16w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is Guinea-Bissau&#039;s greatest asset: its young population. Therefore, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood develop a pastoral ministry with special attention to this age group. At the same time, problems arise related to the economic difficulties of families, which influence the acquisition of items such as uniforms. As previously reported, efforts have been made from Portugal and Spain to contribute to the well-being of these scouts by sending various pieces of uniform. Support was received from the National Scout Corps, Portuguese Catholic Scouting, and Group 639 of Vila Vi\u00e7osa, as well as other organizations and private individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We received news of the promises and the following words of thanks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The donation of materials for the promises was an incredible gesture that allowed us to create unforgettable moments for these children and young people.
