The aim of this initiative was to &quot;break the silence, combat misinformation, and ensure that no girl misses school because of something natural to her body.&quot;\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/cpps.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/G3.jpg?wsr\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51164\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpps.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/G3.jpg 900w, https:\/\/cpps.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/G3-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cpps.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/G3-16x12.jpg 16w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We found the details of the information in the message we received:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c&quot;More than 60 girls, students from different schools in the Safim Sector and the Airport Neighborhood, participated in a djumbai (a workshop\/session) on Menstrual Hygiene, promoted by Plan International.&quot;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the celebrations for World Menstrual Hygiene Day, observed on May 28th, Plan International, through the Girls Out Loud &quot;Nha Fala&quot; platform, launched a campaign today on menstrual dignity. The Catholic High School, Prof. Adriano Ant\u00f3nio Vasconcelos, in Safim, was chosen as the venue for this &quot;djumbai&quot; (a traditional Brazilian event).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the facilitation of Dr. Denise De Nascimento Da Silva, 60 girls were educated about menstrual hygiene, self-care during their period, and strategies for dealing with taboos.
