He was born in Proen\u00e7a a Nova (Portugal) in 1962.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He joined the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood in 1986.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ordained a priest in Proen\u00e7a a Nova on July 19, 1987.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanksgiving for the gift of the priesthood.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Holy and merciful Father,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I come before You with a heart grateful for the gift of the priesthood.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything I am and everything I have received is a gift from You.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

which was entrusted to me for a time, 39 years ago now,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and intended to be shared.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In celebrating this anniversary of priestly ordination,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thank You for all those who have accompanied me in this ministry.,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

who lived the mission with faith, courage, and love,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and that's what they passed it on to me.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help me to receive this legacy with gratitude.,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

take care of it wisely,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and to transmit it with generosity and hope.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Send Your Holy Spirit upon me and the whole CPPS family:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

guides our synodal dialogues in our community gatherings,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It inspires our decisions in our apostolates.,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and strengthens our bond of charity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

May all of us CPPS Missionaries be faithful stewards of the gifts we have received.,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

so that others may find Your love through us and our charism.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will lift up the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the Lord.<\/em> <\/strong>(Psalm 115)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
