CPPS MISSION

We are called to a concrete mission.

To be a Missionary of the Most Precious Blood is to feel called to a concrete apostolate. This is based on our General Statutes: “each C.PP.S. member seeks to live more deeply the spirituality of the Blood of Christ in order to discover its value for modern man and to share this gift with the Church and with the world” (S5).

Our spirituality encompasses the entire dimension of humankind in time and space (it accompanies the historical journey of humanity); it is a spirituality that responds to our anxieties. here and now. Therefore, we feel called to deeply cultivate the immeasurable value of the Blood of Christ and to find in it the meaning of our existence. It is a noble and challenging mission that God has placed in our hands.

Our commitment
Article 5 emphasizes that "members of the C.PP.S. must share this gift (the Blood of Christ) with the Church and with the world," therefore we are always aware that "we cannot keep silent about what we have seen and heard" (Acts 4:20). In our missions in Spain, Portugal, and Guinea-Bissau, we see the suffering of adults, young people, teenagers, and children; we hear lamentations, groans, and cries for a dignified life. Faced with all this, we seek to respond through different ministries: sharing the word of God, listening, Eucharistic celebration, celebration of reconciliation, work with young people, adults, the sick, spiritual accompaniment, etc.
