St. Gaspar del Búfalo served the Church in the Popular Missions. Carrying a huge cross, he would place it in the center of the town square and then speak of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, the redeeming Blood of Jesus. His words drew people to Christ through confession and conversion. He played a decisive role in changing the lives of organized groups that engaged in thievery.
