La solidaridad que da fruto

We all know the different activities that from our communities are organized to help and support the activities of our brothers in Guinea Bissau: The health care center, the school, etc…. From our parish community of Cáceres, this solidarity collaboration is carried out through NGO “COPAMATER” and in recent years through it Belén Solidario that is installed in the Parish of St. Matthew, thanks for the effort, the illusion and the work of a group of people belonging to the community and the cofradías of the Parish.

This last year, following an interview with Fr. Florentino, he decided to collaborate with the project to expand the health care point, with the review of the contributions of the people who, in a large number of visits to Belén and which have been a total of 1,800 euros.

Apart from economic aid, we think that this gesture of solidarity bears other fruits that are not visible and material like they are:

• The illusion of contributing to an action that serves as help to other brothers
• The fraternity that is lived in the group collaborating in common work
• The work and effort translated into many hours of dedication to Belen (starts to assemble in November and lasts until after 6 de Enero)
• The satisfaction of collaborating in helping other brothers.
