In the Parish of Santo António de Safim, in Guinea-Bissau, is based group number 13: more than two hundred children and young people who live the ideal of BP, "seeking to leave the world a little better than they found it". Last Sunday, cubs, junior scouts, senior scouts and rovers made their promises, in a ceremony enriched by the presence of national leaders of the movement, scouts from various groups, family members and the Christian community.

This is Guinea-Bissau's greatest asset: its young population. Therefore, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood develop a pastoral ministry with special attention to this age group. At the same time, problems arise related to the economic difficulties of families, which influence the acquisition of items such as uniforms. As previously reported, efforts have been made from Portugal and Spain to contribute to the well-being of these scouts by sending various pieces of uniform. Support was received from the National Scout Corps, Portuguese Catholic Scouting, and Group 639 of Vila Viçosa, as well as other organizations and private individuals.
