A living faith

After a period of rest, the ecclesial/parish structures must be put back into operation.

It is important not to fall into the routine of repeating what has always been done in the same way. The Missionaries of the Precious Blood are challenged, following the example of St. Gaspar del Bufalo, to look at the diverse realities where they are on mission, to find missionary paths that can be truly renewing, so that the "freshness" of the Gospel continues to give life.

For the mission, everyone is important because "the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." Involving every layperson in the mission, with a spirit of service, following the example of Our Lord Jesus Christ who "came to serve and not to be served," is the way.

All of this gains depth with the spirituality of the Most Precious Blood, which speaks of life, redemption, salvation, peace, fraternity, forgiveness… The world is showing serious signs of crisis, with the poor being the greatest victims. Today is the right day and time for all communities to engage in the ecclesial mission of bringing God's love to all people, not allowing vices, divisions, competition, jealousy, or any kind of worldly thing to take root in their structures. It is the time for the witness of a living faith, capable of “moving mountains.”.
