During the homily, the Bishop highlighted the figure of St. Martin de Porres as an example of humility, simplicity, and dedication to the most needy of his time, emphasizing the value of his life's testimony and service to others.

At the end of the Eucharist, the parishioners enjoyed a moment of fellowship in one of the parish rooms, also enjoying chocolate and some sweets, a snack prepared by the parish cleaning group. It was a time to celebrate this festivity together and strengthen the bonds of unity within the community.

This Parish Pastoral Center was created in 2006 with the aim of providing greater proximity to the community of the parish of St. Matthew and creating more suitable spaces for the parish mission.
