Health missionaries

CPPS Missionaries in Tanzania take care of the people's health.

On July 3rd, the Tanzanian Province of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood inaugurated a Children's Special Care Unit at St. Gaspar Hospital in Itigui, Tanzania. They also launched a vehicle that will serve as a mobile hospital. The aim is to serve a community predominantly composed of children, as well as to support the poorest in their healthcare needs. It is worth noting that St. Gaspar Hospital was established several decades ago by the Italian Province of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood and has distinguished itself as a leading provider of a wide range of healthcare services.

Father Benedetto Labate, Provincial Superior of the Italian Province, was present at the inauguration and gave thanks to God for the fact that the Missionaries continue to provide a quality service to the people; Father Vedastus, Provincial Superior of the Tanzanian Province, also expressed gratitude for the support received from Italy and other countries. He thanked the Ruvuma Association for the donation of the vehicle, which is equipped to provide healthcare services in the outskirts of the city.

The Missionaries of the Precious Blood are attentive to the cries of the poorest people, anywhere in the world, and respond from a spirituality that calls for dignity for all people.
