Our Lady of Fatima
Our Lady of Fatima
Portugal is a Marian country. Fatima is designated as the Altar of the world. Throughout the world there are thousands of churches dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima.

This year, 2026, thousands of pilgrims were in Fatima on May 12th and 13th. According to information from the sanctuary, more than a hundred groups of pilgrims from all 5 continents reported their presence: the whole world was represented.
In Portugal, there are more than 30 groups that make a pilgrimage for a week or more, on foot, to the feet of the Mother of Heaven.
The message remains relevant: pray for peace, for the conversion of sinners, so that Our Lord may no longer be offended by hatred, war, and death.
Also in the parish communities served by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, the prayer of the rosary is reinforced, especially in the month of May. The CPPS community of Proença a Nova is carrying out visits with the image of Our Lady of Fatima in its parishes and chapels. The CPPS community of Vila Viçosa prays the rosary once a week in public squares. It is a powerful time to deepen the faith of the people and to find in prayer the strength that converts hearts and can transform the world.
