A spiritual retreat organized by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood took place in Cáceres on April 18th and 19th, resuming the meetings of the Family of the Precious Blood, which had been interrupted for several years but were of great importance for sharing spiritual experiences and testimonies, deepening our life and salvation through the Precious Blood of Christ as the only way of life and hope. Fathers António Panea and José Maria led the various sessions, presenting and showing us the fundamental values of how to live the Spirituality of the Blood of Christ. We were challenged to reflect on our current daily behavior in relation to our environment and those around us, the reality we observe, and our attitudes. We should have an attitude of humility, listening, service to our neighbor, and acceptance.

These were two enriching days of experience, reflection, prayer, and intensive learning. We are part of the Body of Christ, and He is the water that quenches our thirst and the blood that runs in our veins. We want to leave the mark of Christ for all those who "cry out" for help, those in need, and be the drop of blood that leaves its mark wherever we go.

May this drop of blood of the living Christ enlighten and strengthen us, so that we may bear witness in our parishes.

We are challenged to put the Love of Christ into our lives.
