To live resurrected

It's Easter: we begin to live again!

On the holy night of the Easter Vigil, a light shines in the darkness: Jesus has risen. The place of death is empty and its doors are open so that all may see. Where is Jesus? He is alive forever, alive for me and for you; only He can snatch the world from death to life.

Thus a new time dawns, a new story of fullness of life. Witnesses of the risen Christ, we are filled with hope. It is time to proclaim, to bear witness, to live in the manner of Jesus Christ, with confidence and joy.

Pope Leo XIV helps us to understand the full richness of the Easter celebrations:

“Easter does not eliminate the cross, but overcomes it in the prodigious duel that changed human history. Our time, too, marked by so many crosses, calls for the dawn of Easter hope. The Resurrection of Christ is not an idea, a theory, but the Event that is at the foundation of faith. He, the Risen One, through the Holy Spirit, continues to remind us of it so that we may be his witnesses even where human history sees no light on the horizon.”

We, the Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood, are at the service of the Church, with the mission of bringing to the world the reconciliation that Jesus accomplished by shedding his blood. We are instruments of the Good News for the transformation of the world, following the example and witness of our founder, St. Gaspar del Bufalo.

Happy Feast of the Risen Christ!
