La Sangre de Cristo asks us for solidarity (2 part)
In addition to being places of dialogue, the Community and Families of the Precious Blood, have to be:
- HOSPITAL PLACES
It has always been a sign of identity in our congregation for shelter and hospitality, when we went and others came to our community, we felt “at home” and we were presumed to be good hosts, we always did what was necessary so that the “huésped” would meet in love.
A hospitality that also has to be exercised with those we live day to day, sometimes we fall into the attempt to be “candiles at home, but on the street we are stars”
Hospitality has its foundation in the Pan de la Eucharist, where we are invited to the ground as many or as many, but all, because the Blood of Christ was shed for all.
Our Communities and Families of the Precious Blood have to be “Eucharistic” in which we find an environment of cordiality, dialogue, dedication and peace.

Commitments to be places of hospitality
- May our Communities and Families of the Precious Blood live in such a way that others are happy to visit us because they receive good treatment, affection and support.
- Taking care of moments of Community to be able to experience hospitality and share what we are and have.
- If hospitality asks us to be good hosts for those who come, our guests, we also have to be good hosts for our hosts, respecting the times of the Community and by courtesy, not demanding more than due and a total adaptation.
- Hospitality must give us the opportunity to mutually share the experiences and work of hosts and guests.
- We must not convert hospitality into a mere “cheap hostel”, no more.
