My name is José.

Saint Joseph, a saint of obedient silence, did not preach, did not write books, and did not leave behind any extraordinary speeches.

Without seeking any protagonism, he listened to God and acted. Today, in a world full of digital noise, the invitation is to listen more and opine less. Following his example, we must be willing to obey God, without any negotiation between his will and ours (conversion), to be Christians and missionaries capable of sanctifying what is common (work).

May our penance involve fulfilling our daily duty well and with love. In a context of persecution and the law of force, Saint Joseph protected the Holy Family without violence, courageously.

We are called to protect our charism, our faith, our family, and the vulnerable with the same serenity. We don't need to have all the answers beforehand, but rather the confidence. Let our holiness grow in secret, in the everyday, in humility.

Saint Joseph, pray for us, and for all the "Josephs"!
