Come together to plan and move forward.

The Missionaries of the Precious Blood, Iberian Province (Portugal, Spain and Guinea-Bissau) are statutorily divided into Districts. Each District must meet regularly. This strengthens the bond of charity, plans the mission together, reinforces the sense of community, and updates spirituality. The CPPS communities of Proença-a-Nova and Vila Viçosa form the Portuguese District, consisting of 6 priests.

This Portuguese District met today, January 12th, in Vila Viçosa (Portugal). The meeting began with a commemoration of the feast day of Blessed Giovanni Merlini and prayers inspired by his example. The following morning was dedicated to intensive work and sharing, a review of life, and the acquisition of new information for the future.

Finally, the date for the next meeting was set for May 5th, and the proceedings concluded with a shared meal.
