La Alianza en la Sangre (Mc 26, 26-29)

Alianza quiere expresar que Dios desea vivir con su Pueblo y que no quiere permanecer en el cielo ajeno a lo que ocurre en su vida, tampoco espera que le rinda pleitesía, sino que quiere compartir la vida de su Pueblo con sus acontecimientos.

La Nueva Alianza se celebra en la última cena de Jesús con sus apóstoles, aludiendo a las doce tribus de Israel y con la sangre de Cristo derramada por todos para el perdón de los pecados “Tomad y bebed”.

Is there a new alliance missing? Wasn't la del AT enough? The pueblo was unfaithful to God, who abandoned it in search of other dioses, thinking that they would fill their lives, and would find emptiness and meaningless.

Por eso los profetas anuncian la Nueva Alianza, pero por la infidelidad del Pueblo, no por la infidelidad de Dios, pero ahora las cláusulas de la Nueva Alianza en lugar de estar inscritas en piedra, van a ser esculpidas en un corazón de carne que ame.

Details of the New Alliance

• It is celebrated in a friendly scene between Jesus and the Doce
• El cáliz de la Alianza lo tienen que beber todos, no un representante de los Doce, sino todos los Doce, con esto Jesús está diciendo, que, si Él muere por todos, todos tenemos que estar dispuestos a beber, con Él, el cáliz de la amargura y del sufrimiento de los demás.
• Al final les hace un encargo. “” haced esto en memoria mía”, por eso cada vez que nos reunimos para celebrar la Eucaristía, celebramos la Pascua del Señor, su pasión, muerte y resurrección.
• San Pedro, in one of his letters, tells us that we have been bought in gold or gold, with the Precious blood of Jesús, and he says, that through this Alianza we have become children of God, and that through our veins runs the blood of his Hijo Jesús, which we share with each other.
• Therefore, the outpouring of the Blood of Jesus, to the last drop, is the act of God's greatest love for humanity, a free love, because the Alliance, is not a contract of mutual services (I give you something and change me), because God doesn't want anything, doesn't ask us for anything, he only intends to establish with us a dialogue of disinterested love and for our sake On the other hand, we don't have to do things for God to reward us, but in response to the love that holds us.

Alliance Commitments  

1. Having devotion to the Blood of Christ is not having a greater devotion, which requires us to be testimonies of the Love of God.
2. To do this, we have to die to the desires of the flesh: greed, selfishness, selfishness, arrogance, indifference… and live in love, joy, peace and hope.
3. Let us have trust in God, because He is faithful and never abandons us and if we are unfaithful, let us go to God who will shelter us and will not abandon us.
4. Comulgar con el cáliz de Jesús, es aceptar los sufrimientos y trabajos, los éxitos y los fracasos con paz, paciencia, humildad y alegría para ser otros “cristos dolientes”.
5. Despite the difficulties and the “sticks” that give us life, we cannot despair, nor hundir us, nor abandon it altogether; He suffered before for us and for us, children of God, like El, we must run to his own fate.
6. Devotion to the Blood of Christ, asks us to celebrate, like Jesus, fraternity and friendship, both in the Eucharist and in everyday life, so that we have to forget grudges, forgive and not have a desire to revenge for the evil that hurt us.
7. The Alliance, in the Blood of Christ, makes us change the idea of a God who punishes and sends us to hell for not complying with the rules, for a God who loves us and who seeks our happiness, without us asking for it.

When life treats us badly and we do not see the light at the end of the tunnel because all the lights have been turned off and we are not capable of finding a way out, we do not forget that the Alliance with God, was consummated in the Cross, and therefore the suffering is redeeming and is the cause of our salvation.
